- Blue Injustice

It is not the first time in this year... Once again, the outragerous Brazilian's arbitration was capable of ruining a critical match this Wednesday. Cruzeiro and Palmeiras. The first one fight for a place in Libertadores, the second one for the first place and consequently, the title of Campeão Brasileiro. To a Cruzeirense’s disappointment and frustration, the incompetent and bastard arbiter Evando Rogério Roman lead the blue time to total disgrace in a matter of minutes and innumerable errors. The game was really an exciting one, and to my pleasure, Cruzeiro had most of ball’s possession. 6 minutes of game, Kleber with his proficiency tries to score, however, he is SOWEHOW stopped, pulled and falls inside the area. Penalty (We wish so). First error. Roman does not react to the incident, instead, he says the game should proceed. The crowd goes wild. But the blue team doesn’t ever give up. Even though favoritism was already being detected, our ‘Guerreiros’ continued to play beautifully as they always (or almost always) play. Pa-pa, we score and they score. Fault on Kleber… As always. Fault on Kleber… Fault on Kleber again. I could go on and on but this is not the focus. Again, this was really an exciting game. This was a game, until the unprepared, useless arbiter decided to act in favor of Palmeiras again. At the end of the first half, when Fabricio positioned inside of the area was ready to score a beautiful goal, showing that even with the scrupulous care of the arbiter to defend the opponent, we could win, Souza entered at his front, interfered at his kick and threw him at the grass. Well, we could, if it wasn’t for the miserable Roman, which once again did not count this obvious fault worth the maximum punishment, penalty. From this point on, Máfia Azul was furious, “Ei juíz vai toma no…” and the rest you all know. However, we did not stop cheering for our Paixão Celeste ! The first half went on and finaly finished. 1x1 due to arbitrage incompetency. The second half started, our players had total moral support from all fans at Mineirão and were showing voraciousness for our second goal. Sadly, due to one defense mistake, Palmeiras reacts and scores their second goal. Honestly, it even helped encouraging our players. Without further sadness, our players continued to react. Bad luck was all over us. We tried and tried to score, but unfortunately, the ball wouldn’t tremble the net (Palmeirenses would say it was because of Marcos, their goalie... Their mistake, purely bad luck). Again, we had most of ball’s possession. From time to time Palmeiras decided to attack but they wouldn’t pass our players or even would just give up. It was just simply amazing how brutal the green players were once they realized they were being threatened. This leads us to Roman’s third major error. Armero, a player from the opposite team, who already had received others yellow cards, made a fault inside the area. This was supposed to be Cruzeiro’s third or even first penalty kick, however, once again, Roman was incompetent enough to misunderstand the play and only expel Armero. After another injustice, our players attacked all time possible. A sequence of offensive plays happened, but we were unluckily enough to don’t score a single goal.

Finally, an observation to some Palmeirenses who believe this game was a significant one: It must be really futile for a Palmeirense to be proud of this game. It does not only show how useless they are, but also, how pathetic it is to be proud of a game in which an arbiter had to be involved so they could succeed. Even though we lost, at least I’m proud to say that we played better, proud to be Cruzeiro.

I strongly encourage all readers to access this link and read the letter Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's president, Zezé Perrella wrote about the poor actuation of Evandro Rogério Roman.

- The Ugly Truth

The Ugly Truth it is now at the screens ! The movie is basically a sex war in which a show producer is "reluctantly embroiled in a series of outrageous tests by her chauvinistic correspondent" (Official trailer information) to prove his theories about relationships and help her to find her true love.

I personally cannot give an opinion about it, once I hadn't watch it yet. However, I am really anxious to watch it because I'm both movie and Katherine Heighl lover. Her performance first surprised me at Grey's Anatomy, where she plays Izzie Stevens, which is also another woman who fights over love problems. Also, as the movie 27 Dresses, which also casts Heighl, The Ugly Truth promises to be a successful romantic comedy.

- VMA Incident

As most of you should already know, the MTV's famous celebration, VMA (Video and Music Arts) awards, happened last week. With presences such as Lady Gaga, Pink, Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Janet Jackson and much more, the even was, indeed, a success. Mostly. After some nominations, Taylor Swift, won over some other popstars, such as Beyonce, the award of Best Female Video of Year. In the middle of Taylor's acceptance speech, Kanye West takes out her microfone and says: "Hey Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'll let you finish [speech] but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!" and leaves the stage. Cute Beyonce, on the other hand, looks just as ashamed as Taylor and makes no sign of understanding or even appreciating what is going on. In response of what happened Taylor just states that "I was really excited because it was my first award and really excited because Kanye West was on the stage... And then, I wasn't so excited anymore.
Taylor, are there any heart feelings?
I don't know him and I never met him..."

Some sources affirm Kanye was drunk before the nominations, what could have lead this incident. Finally, I think Kanye West could have kept it to himself, even though he might think this was a sign of admiration of the diva Beyonce. Also, he was no longer respectful and was absolutely arrogant, leading the Taylor's award night to almost a nightmare.

- DJ AM Tragedy

Adam Michael Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, 36 years old was found dead at his apartament 8 days ago. According to the New York Post, drugs were found in the place. The DJ's past is a prove of someone who really battled for life. Almost one year ago, Travis Barker, the Blink 182 drummer, and DJ AM were seriously injured when a Learjet 60 crashed during takeoff in South Carolina, which left four deaths. Also, the internacionally recognized DJ suffered from drug addiction, however, he had been sober for nine years before last Friday afternoon.

According to NBC New York, "DJ AM had not been heard from for a few says, and one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door, law-enforcement souces said. The friend then called the police, who broke into the apartment and found the DJ's body."

In addiction, some other sources affirm that the DJ "had been battling with depression lately. DJ AM thought the depression was a result of trying to stop taking pain medication since his tragic plane accident."

Finally, the worst part is that the DJ was overcoming his addiction and was working on a MTV show to help young people get sober. If you go to his webpage AM Now you can even see how Adam was a survival and fighter and, he was and still is an example. Even though I've never been quite a big fan of DJ AM, I already had listened to some of his musics and, just by listening you could tell that he had talent. He is, indeed, an example, to all those who have some sort of addiction; he used his own problem and solution, to help others to find a better way to live. To end up with, Mandy Moore released a statement about her loss. Says Mandy: "I am absolutely heartbroken. For those of us lucky enough to have known him, Adam radiated a contagious exuberance for life and also personified the very definition of a true friend. To say that he will be missed beyond words is an understatement. My heart goes out to his loved ones."
