- South Park
As all the 10th graders know, during English class we are reading J.D. Salinger's classic novel, The Catcher in the Rye. Sadly, the writer was found dead January 27th of this year... This tragedy besides being a loss to many people, was also an inspiration for a particular animated sitcom... South Park, is already known for its satirical and dark humor when criticizing something, or someone. In this particular episode, the students are assigned to read The Catcher in the Rye and are told by their teacher that many schools do not keep this book in their list due to its content and inappropriate language/scenes... This is enough to make Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny eager to read it. When they finally make through the book, they are in pure disappointment because the book lacks really inappropriate scenes and then, start to criticize, in their unique way, how stupid it is to banish this book... If you want to see the whole episode, in which they decide to write a really obscene book, go to South Park Studios =) Enjoy

- Lady Gaga again
As last week's post, today's post will be about the talented freaky Lady Gaga. As I previously said about her new video, Telephone (check the post below), it is REALLY making success ! It has already passed the mark of 2,600,000 views only on Youtube ! Of course a video like this embraces all kinds of critiques, both good and bad. There is no need to say that Gaga's fans were absolutely in shock and in love for the pseudo-movie, however, we can't say that for all the fans out there. For instance, Black Eyed Peas' fans were also in shock, but not a good shock... They were, and still are, convicted that the freaky Gaga plagiarized the video "Imma Be" due to the 'story' and images resemblance (both videos have parts in which the characters are in road trips). In my opinion, this is mere coincidence because there is no way Lady Gaga could produce the same video as BEP, once the difference between the videos' release is only about 1 or 2 weeks. Also, there are many other videos in which there are road trips and luncheonettes, so it ain't quite plagiarizing...
But the rumors don't end there ! Some people also say that the Blonde plagiarized some of her outfits... This I'm not sure about, but I think there is at least a little steal in there. Of course coincidences happen, but the outfits are way too similar...
So what do YOU think ?! Is Lady Gaga a plagiarizer or she just has some really bad luck !?

- Lady Gaga
There is no need to say that we can expect anything from Gaga... However, we can't help but feel in absolute shock when we see something new from her. This time was her video world premiere (yes, it had a world premiere !) for the music Telephone, featuring the diva Beyoncé. This is the second song (and according to the video, not the last one) both sing together (the first one was Videophone, which by the way, is an excellent music). Even though the music was out for a while, the video for Telephone only had its premiere last week and it lasts for almost 10 minutes ! Yes, 10 minutes of pure craziness of Lady Gaga. It was directed by Jonas Akerlund and it is kind of a continuation of the video clip Paparazzi, in which Gaga kills her boyfriend or whatever that guy is. I already watched the video and I was blown out of my mind, it is absolutely insane ! It also has some really, let's say remarkable scenes... Anyway, it starts with Gaga being arrested and in jail, then it leads us to some kind of restaurant where she is dancing while cooking (?!) and then she and Beyoncé run away after killing everyone that was in that place... Really freaky, but what can I say!? Its GAGA ! Finally, for those who want to check out the video (I strongly encourage only those who like Lady Gaga hahaha otherwise it will be kind of a waste of time due to absolutely no understanding) here it is.. I hope you enjoy it =)

- Nicholas Sparks
As the previous post was about Dear John, I decided that this post should be about Nicholas Sparks. I personally love him and think he is an exceptional writer ! He wrote books such as The Guardian, Message in a Bottle, Nights in Rodanthe, A Walk to Remember, Dear John, The Last Song and The Notebook. The last 4 respectively, were actually bestselling and the last 6 have been turned into movies. His books are mostly romance evolving fate and tragedy. He is now 44 years old and his first published book, which is The Notebook, was when he was 30 years old. After The Notebook's success, Sparks published more 14 books and is a continuos write. He basically publishes one book at each year, which makes all his fans really glad ! I've already read A Walk to Remember and The Notebook, (and I'm waiting anxiously to read Dear John) and I strongly recommend for those who like romance. PS: not only the books but also the movies (they will really make you cry) ! Sparks is not only an awesome writer, but is also a role model. He is always donating money, contributing to charities and seeking help for those who need it... Anyway, he is now writing two more books/screenplays (because they are in the process of being made into movies) called True Believer and The Lucky One. Last, as a huge fan, I'm really excited for the outcome because I know it will be great =)
