- South Park

As all the 10th graders know, during English class we are reading J.D. Salinger's classic novel, The Catcher in the Rye. Sadly, the writer was found dead January 27th of this year... This tragedy besides being a loss to many people, was also an inspiration for a particular animated sitcom... South Park, is already known for its satirical and dark humor when criticizing something, or someone. In this particular episode, the students are assigned to read The Catcher in the Rye and are told by their teacher that many schools do not keep this book in their list due to its content and inappropriate language/scenes... This is enough to make Stan, Kyle, Eric and Kenny eager to read it. When they finally make through the book, they are in pure disappointment because the book lacks really inappropriate scenes and then, start to criticize, in their unique way, how stupid it is to banish this book... If you want to see the whole episode, in which they decide to write a really obscene book, go to South Park Studios =) Enjoy

Ha! Except for he doesn't even say f$#@ or s#*$, so the book is even LESS vulgar than they say it is.

The kill John Lennon part at the end is funny, and so wrong--but I guess that's South Park.
